
WHO: Robert T. Parry, expert on national monetary issues

WHAT: At the above place and time, national renowned economist Robert T. Parry will be the featured speaker at the Distinguished Lecture Series presented by the CSUCI Business and Economics Program. Parry, who will speak on “Globalization: Threat or Opportunity for the U.S. Economy,” is a director of the National Bureau of Economic Research. He served as president and chief financial executive of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco for eighteen years and was a member of the Federal Open Market Committee. He currently serves on the boards of Countrywide Financial, Janus Capital Group, and PACCAR. The event, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Ventura County Star.
