
Camarillo, Calif., Feb. 9, 2009—The Business & Technology Partnership at California State University Channel Islands is accepting nominations for the 2009 Business & Community Leader of the Year Award and the 2009 Technologist of the Year Award. Criteria for nominations and forms are available on the University’s Web site, www.csuci.edu/about/btp. Deadline for nominations is Feb. 16, and nominations may be made by anyone in the community.
The B&TP promotes and fosters regional collaboration between the University and Ventura, Santa Barbara, and northern Los Angeles County businesses, and promotes technological excellence among the University’s students, faculty, and staff.
The winners of the Business Community Leader and Technologist of the year awards, along with the winner of the Faculty Leader of the Year Award and five student scholarship winners will be honored at the fifth annual Business & Technology Partnership Leadership Dinner, sponsored by the California State University Channel Islands Foundation and Santa Barbara Bank & Trust. The dinner will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 23 at the Embassy Suites Mandalay Beach Resort in Oxnard.
