About the Project

Background

CSUCI redesigned its web site in 2005 based on extensive research organized by the University Web Steering Committee and the departments of Information Technology and Communications and Marketing.

As with the physical campus and community, the CSUCI virtual environment continues to grow and change. Regular review of how the CSUCI web presence is necessary to determine strengths and areas for improvement.

Beginning in Fall 2008, stakeholders in the departments of Advancement, Communications & Marketing, and Information Technology met to discuss the process of "refreshing" the web site. The process includes:

• review of the successes achieved over the last 3 years;
  
• review of current goals;
• examination of new issues related to CSUCI web presence; and
• creation of solutions to address new and existing issues

In order to facilitate openness and collaboration throughout the process, key stakeholders across the University will be involved during various phases.
