Once you are notified by e-mail that you have an award notification offer, you must access your Student Center financial aid account (myCI) to accept each financial aid award item. Only accepted funds will post to your account upon completion of the disbursement process.
Your financial aid award offer will be based on full-time enrollment, even if you indicated on your FAFSA that you plan to enroll in fewer units. Your financial aid award may be adjusted if you are enrolled in fewer than 12 units.
Cal Grant awards will remain estimates until the governor signs the state budget and payment is sent to us from the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC).
Your estimated financial aid offer will include a Federal Direct Stafford Loan offer if you have eligibility. This loan award is being offered to you to assist with meeting your educational expenses and is only an offer. Access your Student Center to view your financial aid award and accept, reduce, or decline this loan amount.
